REPORTASE EXPOSE.COM, DUBAI – The Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN) has officially partnered with international investor Ayedh Dejem Group, a construction and development company from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) focusing on infrastructure and real estate, for a mixed-use development in the Nusantara Capital (IKN).
This agreement was marked by the signing of a Cooperation Agreement between the OIKN Deputy for Funding and Investment, Sudiro Roi Santoso, and the Chairman of Ayedh Dejem Group, Sheikh Ayedh Dejem, on Friday (January 23, 2026).
“There is significant growth in the Indonesian economy. And Insyaallah (God willing), the economy [in IKN] will grow rapidly, thus requiring large projects to meet the demand,” stated the Chairman of Ayedh Dejem Group, opening his remarks.
This cooperation covers the utilization of 9.7 hectares of land in the Core Government Area (KIPP) 1A, strategically located right next to Plaza Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. At this location, Ayedh Dejem Group will develop an office complex, commercial area, shopping mall, and worship facilities in the form of a mosque.
Regarding this commitment, Sheikh Ayedh Dejem emphasized his confidence based on the economic strength of both parties.
“Our field is real estate development. Looking at Indonesia’s large population and size, as well as our position from Dubai—which sits among the world’s 20 largest economies—we highly expect significant growth in real estate development in Nusantara,” he added.
OIKN Deputy for Funding and Investment, Sudiro Roi Santoso, welcomed the conclusion of this strategic land allocation agreement.
“Alhamdulillah, today, January 23rd, OIKN together with Ayedh Dejem have successfully signed a land allocation agreement for an area of 9.7 hectares,” said Sudiro.
He further detailed the estimated investment value and the pre-construction stages to be carried out.
“The estimated investment value is approximately IDR 4 trillion, which will begin with planning through detailed design, followed by the licensing process and contractor bidding process, taking approximately no later than one and a half years from the signing date,” he added.
In accordance with these stages, physical construction is set to commence in mid-2027 and will continue sustainably for the next five years.
The realization of this investment is the result of a long process and serious commitment from both parties. Previously, Ayedh Dejem Group had conducted a direct site visit to the development location in Nusantara and signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) on May 8, 2025.
Also present to accompany this agenda were OIKN Deputy for Social, Cultural, and Community Empowerment, Alimuddin, along with representatives from the Directorate of Investment and Ease of Doing Business, M. Fahrian Hafizh; the Directorate of Financing, M. Luthfi; and the Bureau of Human Resources and Public Relations, M. Alfin Ilhami, who were tasked with overseeing the smooth execution of the cooperation signing.
This step reinforces IKN’s position as a “World City for All,” built through synergistic collaboration between the government and global private partners. (Redaksi/Johan).
